Going to my destination cost me 79pesos. Coming back i rode this cab,we took the exact same route w even less traffic & HALFWAY through, the meter, which is located waaaay lower than in others cabs already says 130php!!! I noticed his hand strangely seemed to be covering it the entire time.probably manipulating the meter value.i protested saying i rode a cab earlier, took the exact route.took me 79Php,asked if he was tampering with the meter and he just drove like mad =(

The meter was running faster than the other taxis i take to the same destination. A ride that should have cost 160ish went to 180, and there was no traffic at all.

This taxi has a tampered meter. The "seal" itself doesn't look broken BUT the taxi driver has a switch to the right of the clutch pedal which increases the meter by P3.50 per click! This was outrageous. Kitang-kita yung daya ng taxi and the driver did not deny this but he didn't apologize for it either.

This airport yellow taxi abuse incident happened just today, Jan 04, 2012 at 9:30AM. The driver charged 184 Php instead of 114 Php from NAIA3 to Sto. Nino, Champaca, Taguig. The modus is that, the meter seven segment was disabled in the tens digit so you won't know if it's already for example, 04, 14, 24, 34 (plus 70 Php flagdown). I took a video on this abnormal taxi meter. My dispatch slip number given by NAIA3 is 142011. I'm Reymar but in the slip, it was written as 'Raymond'.

the driver stole my blackberry. i got off the cab, realized i left my blackberry on the seat, ran after him in my stilletos, he sped off, dialled my no. right away (coz i was still thinking he was in good faith) with my other mobile then it says that my no. can't be reached. jot down his plate no. right away. i kept in touch with LTO right that very moment Owner Eduardo Negrillo address 73 Sto Nino St Mary Ave. Quezon City ... obviously there is not even such address

Taxi meter looks to be hotwired; a taxi ride with no traffic encountered reached almost P200 (and this ride was cut off prematurely when it reached that amount), while another ride on another taxi with moderate to heavy traffic and using the same route netted the same amount--also, the second time actually reached the destination. Also, driver kept looking at me at odd times, and one hand wouldn't change positions on the wheel, even during periods where there was no movement on the road.
