refused to use the meter and instead asked a flat rate of P100.00 from Robinson Manila to Remedios church. the driver even had the gall to demand for a tip at the destination! if it weren't for the fact that my companion was already hypoglycemic and that we had to deal with a lot of parcels to boot, I would have him drive to the nearest police precinct

Over charging

It's 10PM, and he's charging P200 for a trip from Robinsons Manila to Makati Medical Center! It's hardly 100 pesos for a regular taxi ride! And when I refused to pay, he said that he just wants an additional 50 pesos, in order to 'ensure my safety'. THE HELL?! This is outrageous! He was even sulking when I didn't have enough change, so I just shoved P140 in his face. I'm not sorry. I was really angry.
